Stan, The lords and knights that made the crusades claimed to be doing it for the good of God, but seem to have forgotten all that Jesus had taught. They were goaded on by the Priests, Bishops, etc. to drive the Arabs out of the Holy Land.

I know that what they did, along with the Spanish Inquisitions, were not really Christians at heart, but they used the religious thing as a reason to make the attacks on individuals, and tribes of people that were actually innocent.

My post was about who they thought they were when they did those un-Christian things.
