Fonda didn't get any POW's killed or tortured. That's just a completely baseless statement. Fonda did go over the line as a peace activist. But those were different times and some felt that extreme measures had to be taken. Fonda was wrong and has apologized many times, but there is no evidence she hurt a single hair on anyone's head. The smarvets also made similar statements about Kerry which turned out to be total lies. The smearvets stated the Viet Cong used a photo of Kerry as propaganda against bthe POW's. In truth, the photo of Kerry was from ten years after the war ended, as part of an exhibit in their war museum. Kerry actually saved a lot of POW's lives, asnd a lot of troops' lives, by expose the underbelly of the war and bringing it to a close faster.
