yes, i remember him. he was distraught after some of his awards were questioned. unlike john forbes kerry he had pride and couldn't live with his lies.

i point out that in his particular case he probably had a Commendation Medal for Merit and he just decided to add a "V" to it. these are authorized medals. john forbes kerry just created a first of it's kind, a Silver Star with "V".... only one ever awarded.....

course with john forbes kerry, he was not ashamed to wear the self promoted Purple Hearts or the Soldier's Medal.

what is sad, the thought just came to me that john forbes kerry was beefing up the citations as he went along probably hoping someday to get his Silver Star upgraded to a Medal of Honor......

Ask that question to those who did NOT have the balls to go to Vietnam - i.e. Dumbyass, FU Cheney, DeLay, Lott, Frist, Kristol, Limbaugh, Ledeen...

Bush posed for a photo with a medal he never earned. It was the distinguished flying wings which real pilots are awarded. Bush never did. He never became a real pilot. But put on some else's medal for his photo. Talk about a dishonest phony. The very next year he was grounded, then buggered out and never flew again.

AWOLBUSH.com has the photo and Bush's entire record, minus the missing eight months. There is no mention of Bush ever earning his wings.

All Kerry's medals were won the hard way, in combat.

Even Al Gore was much mroe courageous than Bush, volunteering for Vietnam, though Nixon protected him from combat so as nbot to give Gore's father any sympathy votes if his son were killed.
