Unfortunately, few of our leaders are able to speak honestly anymore. And academia? Forget about it. Political correctness and the threat of offending anyone has made it almost impossible to be honest and truthful.

Mortar attack hits Baghdad girls school

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Two mortars slammed into a girls' school in a mainly Sunni neighborhood in western Baghdad Sunday morning, killing at least one girl and wounding nearly two dozen others.

Several projectiles exploded in the courtyard of the al-Khulood school. Video from the scene showed blood spread across stone steps. The windows of classrooms were shattered.
