reminds me of time on cape cod with guards,, captain started to play with his .45 and one guy says i wouldn't point that at yourself. he was looking down the barrel... captain says the safety is on and fires it at a tree blowing a huge piece of bark out of it. hmmmm. mit graduate top of his class , big executive at major corp... wife five kids... common sense NONE. We never saw him again he got transferred out of unit. ps never even should have had amo in pistol to begin with. No one ever gets amo unless on firing range and should be inspected before leaving to make sure all amo fired off or turned back in.
