Just as tenure protects your physics teacher friend and his poor performance, could it just possibly be that tenure created that POS American made car that drove you to choose a foreign car? I don't know why its so hard for you to get some of the basic stuff I am posting to you. As I have said to you before several times.......he and I are not teachers yet.......none of us are. We are in grad school learning to be teachers. None of us have tenure because we are not teachers yet. Is that clear to you now? Teachers should be rated on performance and students should have the right to choose an alternative education. I don't disagree. In WA state, you can be fired within the first two years of teaching. We get tenure anywhere from 2-5 years after we first became teachers.
