The New York Times Magazine ran an excellent profile of Hagel about a year ago. I just skimmed through it and it is still germane.

Will do. So far I've only seen that one note and now can't remember where I saw it. There's no doubt we'll be seeing more of these. Hagel certainly outdistances both McCain and Guiliani on the interesting scale.
