I would never put anything past them and you may well be correct.

I don't see why, if they were going to do it, they didn't do it when their approval ratings were higher and when they could have used war 'hysteria' to do better in the elections. I don't know but I think it's a very good thing that people are very suspicious and talking about it a great deal.

It's harder to snooker people when there has already been plenty of skeptical discussion. There were also rumors that Israel's rightwing nutcase government was going to bomb Iran.

I find that more credible since Israel bombed Iraq's nuclear plant. I don't know if the current government has enough political capital for that.

Either way, nothing much that either of these governments do is particularly shocking any longer.
