They're still wars for MONEY hidden under the guise of some kind of clash of religions and philosophies and the like. We're still out there fighting over MONEY. We are a sorry species making a ridiculous mess for MONEY when there's more than enough to go around and around and around.

Whoever we killed in the VN conflict, it was for trying to impose their system on people who didn't want it. they will choose their own path -- whatever that might be. Pretty clear it won't be communism. Someday that will be a sad chapter in human history. ... splitting up one country and one people. Oh how horrible. But the same happened to Germany and Korea. Big deal. I don't recall anybody with any brains suggesting that we should go over there and try to invade their country and try to kill them in the millions until they stop being communist. China isn't seeking to spread communism around the world anymore either. You forgot to mention that. We could have helped Iraq By leaving them in Saddam's hands? We could have continued to go after terrorists as a primary goal, How about the terrorists Saddam was sheltering? Hey, here's a question for you - do you think Putin was lying when he said Russian intelligence had received word Saddam's government was plotting terror attacks against the US?
