Exactly the crux of the matter

>>In these days of "everyone else owes me a living, and everything else in between" it's hard to know where we go from here.<<

I question, since when did life ever come with guarantees? It really doesn't matter what lot in life you chose, nothing is really guaranteed.

Those folks who cast their fate to the wind ultimately deserve what they get. To the farmer who plows his fields and plants his seeds, there is no guarantee against drought, excessive rain, blight, insect infestation or other crop failure. They know this going in. So why, when things don't work out, are all taxpayers on the hook to bail him out? Same goes for the litany of other failures.

Of course Schrillary Clinton was in my hometown today running her beak. Pulled a classic John Kerry flip flop on her voting in the Iraq war ( I was for it until I learned more about it).

I hate to say this but I am glad my parents and grandparents have passed on and are not having to endure the sorry state of things this country is now having to endure.
