Peter, You are, absolutely, correct about other nations that we have, and still are, financing. Many of them hate our guts and we still waste our tax payers money on them. There are too many people that still believe that it was the Jews that had Jesus crucified, but it was not the people that did the dirty deed. The Sanhedrin feared the power of Jesus, and that He would become the ruling force of Judea. They are the ones that had Pontious Pilate arrest Jesus, and they paid a few of the people to yell "give us Barabas", when Pilate washed his hands of the situation instead of making the decision who to crucify. The first Christians were Jews, but that seems to be forgotten by too many. Great Britain, and Australia are like our kin, and the ties are centuries old, and will continue to be so for a long time. God bless them all.
