ok, I admit this may be harsh, whats the solution though as we lose guys at the rate of 3-4 per day, not to fighting but to roadside bombings? I could throw out a few ideas, but they wouldn't be more than just shot in the dark ideas. I'm not going to claim to know what to do in Iraq to make things there better. However, I can say "increase the troop count by 15%" would be at the very bottom of a Top Ten list for me. I just thought Chemical Ali's defense ("We only gassed the Kurds that didn't follow government orders to leave!") sounded eerily like your cocktail party plan for Iraq.
