Oliver North illegally armed Iran with TOW missiles. Several times. Those same missiles can now be used against our troops in Iraq. North also collaborated with drug and gun runners to set up the illegal war in Nicaragua. He would have been put in jail for Iran-Contra, but he got off on a technicality. Because of what North did Reagan was forced to stand up and apologize to the country. North may have been a tough Marine, and that part of him is admirable, but he is also a rightwing extremist with dangerous neo-fascist ideals ideas and proven dishonesty. This is not a man who should be rewarded with his own TV show. Who's next, The Unabomber's War Stories or Eric Rudolph's America?
