We have no soldiers to spare for Iran. Iran is three times the size of Iraq with a much more sophisticated military than Saddam had, including an air force, all kinds of missiles and a Navy. We could bomb them but that won't change much and it might incite much more damaging violence in Iraq. In fact it probably would. It would also drive the Iranian government back into the hands of hardliners just as Iran is beginning to try and moderate again. It is a very stupid idea.
