Hillary thought she could duplicate their success by handing the whole thing down from the government. She did - but the result stinks.

The premise of these systems is that medicine is a fixed environment and is subject to controls.

The reality is that we live longer because of evolving medical technologies and pharmaceutical developments. These newer technologies are expensive.

Generic drugs - sure for old technology, but nowadays the press (and liberal Democrats) deride pharmaceuticals for the high price of new medicine and threaten patent protection. If this occurs -> R&D dies.

The benefit is that it will solve the social security crisis :-)
