Calling it a marginal solution isn't an argument against it, its only an argument for keeping perspective as to its possible benefits. I like the term partial better than marginal. One hard part of the energy solution is that it is a combination of many solutions. That doesn't sit well with the American psyche, where you "do this now, to solve that". Not a lot of patience for complexity.
