I remember something on that too. I think some Canadian Owned Hotels in Cuba were suddenly charged a much higher "rent" or something like that once they were successful. It might even be posted on this thread way back.

Last year a group from Central Illinois rented a boat and went to Cuba. The guide didn't have the right to fish any lake that was promised. No fishing but they had a good week of fishing and screwing.

Sherritt is has been doing well in Cuba for years. The gov't isn't "moving in on them". Far right (or left) blogs may not be the best source of information on Cuba.
