The US has only about 10,000 guys in Afghanistan which is where the real terrorists were and still are. Bush let the Special Ops team focused on killing Bin LAden be dissolved years ago and didn't replace it. Bush's ally Pakistan is frigging protecting the Al Qaida leaders, but that's fine with Bush. He's been quoting twice saying he really doesn't care about Bin Laden anymore. But he does care about sticking 150,000 US troops in the middle of an Iraq civil war where there is no military solution to anything. And he does care about provoking a new war we can't afford with Iran.

I guess since Afghanistan doesn't have oilfields it's not important to Bush. He only cares about countries with black gold his buddies Halliburton and Exxon can make money off.
