Hey Wharf, what if it came down to the Hil and jeb bush in 08 and the race was very close. Would that get you to vote for her?

Wharfy,

<I'm very unforgiving on that vote.>

It was a defining moment and most revealing of real character.

Count me in as well in that category.

The runup to the Iraq war was a total CON-JOB which, if it could be spotted by me, and just about everybody else on this thread, then I have no doubt it could also be spotted by the PROFESSIONALS, THE ELECTED POLITICIANS who formed the OFFICIAL OPPOSITION.

I think it is just MORE LIES on the part of politicians now,
exemplified by Hillary, who suggest

they were misled,
if I knew then what I know now,
the war has been mismanaged

My personal belief is that their position was one or more of:

-- I'm all for extending the Empire
-- gotta whack Saddam
-- gotta get our hands on that oil
-- can't afford to go against AIPAC
-- gotta stop the Iraq going to Euro on its oil sales

Where I sit, you are either
FOR WAR as a substitute of other political means
OR you are
AGAINST WAR as a substitute of other political means

A major segment of the U.S.A population WORSHIPS violence and raw power.

Well, what does it get you?

Look no further than Iraq, the bankrupting of the country,
the social rot.

That's what it gets you. And more!

If that's what you want, support the pols who gave you war in the past and who will give you more war in the future.

Namaste!

Jim
