The Iran mess is of your Dumbyasshole's making. He made Iran the dominant power in the region by removing Saddam. Now he has the Shias and Iranians handing his ass to him. If he uses nukes (the only option that he has) he gets to kill millions of people but will get screwed anyway.

Eyal Zisser, head of the Middle Eastern and African Studies Department at Tel Aviv University in Israel says :"After the whole investment in democracy in the region, the West is losing, and Iran is winning."

So there.

The genius of the Dumbyasshole:

Dumbyasshole : ".... what can't be debated is the fact that Iraq is violent, and the violence is caused by Sunni Arabs like al-Qaida, who have made it clear that they want to create chaos and drive the United States out so they can have safe haven, and then they could launch attacks against America."

Those might have been excellent points if they were true. Because the Soldiers of Heaven, the group involved in the battle, is a Shi'ia sect whose goal is to bring about the return of the "Hiddan Imam," who disappeared in 874. But hey, who knows? Perhaps after Imam Mahdi returns from the dead, the Soldiers of Heaven plan to turn their sights on America.
