Bernard Lewis is pessimistic, very pessimistic. Europeans have thrown in the cultural towel: This does not sound plausible on any level. 1. Are there any Europeans converting to Islam? 2. Is that even a remote possibilty? 3. Are there any Europeans allowing their daughters to marry Arabs? 4. Are there any European males looking for Arab wives? 5. Are Arabs being hired to do jobs Europeans are competing for? 6. Are Arabs doing well in the academic environment? 7. Are European centers of higher education turning out well educated Arabs? 8. Are Arabs succeeding in the European economic community? 9. Are they succeeding in the policical realm? 10. Are they getting elected or hold positions of power? 11. Do they dominate European MSM? 12. Do they dominate or have any foot hold in the European entertainment industry? What nonsense.
