California's economy would collapse without illegal labor. Wouldn't be a single large farm in the state which could function. The world's largest fruit and vegetable crop would rot in the fields. Get real, man. If illegals add 18 billion to the Texas economy, they must add at least twice that to California's. Also remember, at various times, the USA has actively encouraged Mexican workers to come here, legally or not. Every strong economy needs its cheap labor. They just can't be treated like slaves.
