But Tim, the actions are not unjust; that's why you are demeaning yourself. Even if the actions where just (and "soak the rich" isn't) it wouldn't demean myself to oppose the actions. I can't believe you don't see it. You demean yourself by defending a group of people who don't need defending and who would spit on you rather than look at you. If you were really defending sound economics, you would be insuring that the poor get a fairer share of the pie. Considering economic resources as a pie that should be sliced up and distributed by government is unsound economics. I see.....its better that Paris Hilton has a closet full of clothes rather than building a new highway or a new school or a new hospital. Other libertarians might agree with you but I know the general public would not. Do you ever think through your theories and their implications? "The idea that "resources could be used more efficiently" implies that "3 out of 4 teachers are incompetent" or the other ideas you falsely claim I assert or imply, is not just false, its ridiculous. Its not even a gross exaggeration of what I said, it essentially has no connection to what I said." Okay, Tim, what does it imply to you? Its a rather limited statement. It doesn't imply much of anything other than a lack of the maximum possible efficiency in the system as a whole. Going beyond what is implied by that statement - I do think that if the system they worked in was different, many teachers would do a better job, but the system is as much a political decision as it is the result of the teachers' or even the administrators' actions. I don't think that's very true. Sure there are some politics involved but there are politics in every work entity.
