If God has indeed given them the land for the state of Israel, then there is no longer any point to the Jewish religion. On the other hand, if the Promised Land was intended to be a spiritual or transcendental concept, like Heaven, and not a physical entity, then there is no reason for the state of Israel to have been created in the first place. So, however one looks at it, either the state of Israel or the Jewish religion is irrelevant. The one negates the other and the Torah-true Jews know this. They do not accept the state of Israel as being legitimate.
Amen to that.
