Thanks for your encouragement. Makes me feel better about all this. Been quite anxious about it, as you can probably tell. She hasn't had anything broken since she was five years old and fell off the handlebars of a swing set and knocked the cap off her elbow. We dealt with that for three months after her cast came off and had to help her learn to bend it again. She did very well and was a good little patient. I feel she will do what she has to do to regain full use use of this arm.

When the above happened the Dr. told us if it did not heal right, her arm would no longer grow and hearing that was a frightening thing for us. At five she understood what could happen and was not a problem at all when we worked with that arm. It healed beautifully and all was well again. A long ago memory that this has brought back to mind.
