or folks who just dont give a rats ass. I dont include bush in that. I think he is a good guy at heart. I never realized how dark and cynical the cheney types are. Reagan farmed out a lot of work too, and many leftys were really scared of ronny but the place was not dark then. Reagan, agree or disagree, was all about optimisim about the future---these guys are all about fear and perhaps 9/11 was the cause. These were not inteventionist types before 9/11 but acquired bunker mentality itis post 9/11. And then there was Katrina--the domestic and Nature version of 9/11 which they just swept under the rug.
