this is a must read. CLINTON FRIENDS---------this is from a relative in Arkansas

In a message dated 1/28/2007 11:25:06 P.M. Central Standard Time, For those of us who live in Arkansas, these stories are nothing new, but all the more reason to pray that Hillary does not get elected president. They are not and never have been nice people ..... strictly hedonistics ...... with money friends who want them in power. No one in the press ever poses the question, "How come the Clinton's left the WH & immediately moved to NY," where Hillary bought her way into politics. She never made it a secret all the years she was the first lady of Arkansas, her open disdain for the state & people in Arkansas. Since she is touted as being so smart and touted by some as an asset to this state (tongue in cheek here folks) one would have thought she would have run back down here to Arkansas to get herself elected & treated like royalty to boot. The truth is she knows, the people in this state would not elect her dog catcher...... Bill only remained governor for as long as he did, because they had no one to run against him that was a good candidate.... It is never mentioned that his tenure as governor was broken about half way thru by a Republican, because the folks in this state were getting rather tired of him & he had lost the glow for most folks. Of course, they blamed the guy who beat him for all the woes of the state even though they created many of them. Bet you folks did not know that once upon a time. Brother Bill made an agreement with the power company to help pay for a nuclear power plant in the state of MS, from which we would never receive power ...... and folks it was built & we did help pay for it. It is still a head scratcher, but I will guarantee you ole "Slick Willy" got something out of it..... he definitely earned his nickname. When he ran for president, many of us said (never believing he would become this so called charismatic figure--- we were used to Bill in Sweat pants hanging out at McDonalds) that at least it would get him out of the state of Arkansas! Most of the folks I know who voted for him, were just carried away with the idea of a president coming from the little ole state of Arkansas.
Well, old Willy got a new expensive haircut, started dressing better & before the election, Hillary got a complete make over. Many of us believe they sent her to charm school also. Everytime I see or hear her, that old saying about "You can't turn a sow's ear into a silk purse!" pops into my thoughts. No doubt she has her some Hollywood makeup artist that help make her up daily(especially if she is going to be before a camera or out in the public..... Have you noticed that some days she looks down right radiant while on other days, she looks like an old baggy eyed hag! She has more than a bad hair day on those days. Sorry about these unkind thoughts. The Clintons seem to bring out the worst in a lot of us..... along with Harry Reed, Nancy Paloski, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy etc...... you all know who they are.

If you choose to pass this along, please remove my name & email address, because as it is forwarded around the world, the nuts will start sending stuff to me. United we can defeat Hillary!!! Hold THAT THOUGHT!!! JH

Cheney won't take back Pelosi comment

WASHINGTON - Vice President Dick Cheney refused Friday to take back his charge that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's opposition to President Bush's Iraq war buildup is playing into the hands of the al-Qaida terrorist network.

"If you're going to advocate a course of action that basically is withdrawal of our forces from Iraq, then you don't get to just do the fun part of that, that says "We're going to get out,' and appeal to your constituents on that basis," Cheney said.

The vice president had voiced the same criticism of Pelosi earlier this week during a visit to Japan, and the California Democrat accused the vice president of questioning her patriotism, saying she was going to call President Bush directly with her complaint.

"I hope the president will repudiate and distance himself from the vice president's remarks," Pelosi said. She ended up talking with White House chief of staff Josh Bolten instead of Bush.

The long-distance quarrel began in Tokyo, where Cheney earlier this week used an interview to criticize Pelosi and Rep. John Murtha over their plan to place restrictions on Bush's request for an additional $93 billion for the Iraq war to make it difficult or impossible to send 21,500 extra troops to Iraq.

During Friday's interview in Sydney with ABC News, Cheney said, "I'm not sure what part of it is that Nancy disagreed with. She accused me of questioning her patriotism. I didn't question her patriotism. I questioned her judgment."

"You also have to be accountable for the results. What are the consequences of that? What happens if we withdraw from Iraq?," he said. "And the point I made and I'll make it again is that al-Qaida functions on the basis that they think they can break our will. That's their fundamental underlying strategy, that if they can kill enough Americans or cause enough havoc, create enough chaos in Iraq, then we'll quit and go home. And my statement was that if we adopt the Pelosi policy, that then we will validate the strategy of al-Qaida. I said it and I meant it."

Asked if he was willing to take back his criticism of Pelosi, Cheney replied, "I'm not backing down."
