(OTCBB:PECB) has concluded a definitive agreement with Pets Pacifica to distribute Scientific Professional Cat Litter with early warning indicator for FLUTD to retailers in the Hawaiian islands. “We are pleased that we have reached one of our goals for 2006 of filling out our distribution system for penetration in the US and Canadian specialty pet products industry,” stated Ralph J. Steckel, CEO of Pet Ecology, in a press release. “Our agreement with Pets Pacifica is the first of several distributor agreements in these niches, important geographical areas, to complete our market penetration in the domestic market.” This new distribution base will serve to expand awareness of Pet Ecology products throughout the United States, because of the large number of potential clients of Pet Ecology that visit the Islands on an annual basis. Pet Ecology anticipates steady growth as products are introduced to retailers. The company has made securing its audited financials a key to be able to upgrade their stock as quickly as possible to the Bulletin Board and then onto NASDAQ in 2007. The company has introduced two new exclusive products to the Veterinarian Specialty Products division that will enhance the existing sales of the Scientific Professional Cat Litter program already in place. These products are designed to assist in the diagnosis of other ailments afflicting cats beyond the urinary tract diagnostic litter presently being offered by the company. One of the products is a revolutionary patented cat litter that destroys urine odor, clumps, and it’s earth-friendly. Other products being launched by Pet Ecology Brands Inc. in 2006 include the first fat free cat treat, a low sodium and low fat microwavable gourmet cat dinner and two product line extensions for the Scientific Professional Cat Litter line to help indicate feline pregnancy and diabetes. Pet Ecology Brands Inc has approved the licensing of Scientific Cat Litter and the K-9 dog treats to a third party joint venture for the mass market consist of the big box retailers, large discount chains and grocery chains.
