I'm not sure I want to accept your mere assertion that crime rates have increased at extraordinary (and apparently accelerating) rates in schools since 1994 as definitive.

Fine. Don't believe me. That doesn't change the fact that its true.

Also even if crime has greatly increased in schools in the past dozen years it doesn't seem like that would be enough, by itself, or even combined with higher property prices, to absorb all the additional funds that education has received in that period.

For the millionth time, there has never been enough money spent on education. If only we were willing to open the floodgates like we do for 'pork' and for war. Alas, it never happens with education.
