Why didn't democrats defend Kerry from the smearvet attacks the way they are defending Obama from the madrassa smears? If it because they've learned? If not, then why didn't they defend Kerry from the botched joke smears? I agree, Obama was smeared, and that's to be expected, but progressives committed a grave sin by letting Kerry be smeared about the botched joke. In fact Hillary even said it was "inappropriate" as if Kerry meant to diss the troops. I hope Gore runs, because after him, we might need Kerry to beat the GOP. Don't assume Hillary or Obama can beat these scoundrels. It may take a tried and true white male. After all, this is America, a mainly white-dominated patriarchal society.
