Do you remember the indignation of the right when Bill Clinton launched all those "million-dollar" cruise missiles attempting to get the terrorists and bin Laden? How he was wasting money blowing up "mud huts" and "aspirin factories", "wagging the dog"?

..and now, with Bush, a trillion dollars later, bogged in a quagmire, loser war and we STILL don't have bin Laden..

Ted, > Do you really think there is a comparison between what Clinton/Clark/Carter did and what the insurgents are doing in Iraq or the Israelis and the Palestinians are doing or what Bush is doing in Iraq?

No. I'm just saying that what Clinton, Clark, and Carter did isn't that much different than what Bush did. Of course, Bush took it to the next level. Morally his actions are sound, even if they don't make very good foreign policy.
