Bush admin may have to go first, sorry to say. Or at least cheney needs to be retired. Hear the rumors about cheney resigning and condie becoming Veep. I assume she is no favorite of your but i know folks who know her and what i hear is that she is appalled at the conduct of US fp these days. Bush listens to a few folks but in the end always sides with Darth Cheney. Personally both the US and Iran need a way out. This is not Munich and its also not 1976. US dealt with Kruschev and Breznev while waiting for Gorby. We certainly can talk to the mullahs if we want to. The current president of iran is something else but from what you post, it seems he is being handled.
