I'm not in favor of it either.

I wasn't endorsing it, I was giving it as another example of liberals trying to control people. The bill was introduced by the left wing of the democratic party, not by Republicans or Democratic moderates.

Of course their real aim is more to bash the war, and make rhetorical points then actually bring back the draft, but they did sponsor legislation that would do so.
