The VP wanted me to help her convince the president of the firm to stop chasing tech stocks and rotate money to under performing value stocks. I gave a few lecturs to the firm about PE and PEG ratios and showed that GE was over valued relative to the S&P500 by a factor of two at $60 on a PEG basis before it crashed. I think I earned my fees...

This reminds me of the person on SI who asked me why I was so bearish on CSCO near the great QQQ market top, and all I could say was something like, you're kidding me right? (but I did show them a chart)
So many of those "perma bulls" were crushed and disappeared from SI within a few years.

Ah welcome back Kirk,

I knew that old egomania wouldn't let you put ANYBODY on ignore for long...if at all. You know Kirk it really strains your overall credibility when you say you are going to do something and then you never follow through.

Oh well so much for that.

I like your little Horatio Alger story about how Brinker's competitor marched right over to the HP junior engineering department and into your cubicle to beg you to come and manage their portfolio for them and also to become a NATIONAL radio personality.

You said no thanks but you would agree to write a bit for his newsletter. And Walla, (as stalkie says) you have the Genesis of Kirk's newsletter.

And then, you claim, Brinker found out that you wrote a few lines for a competitor and that your picks from an internet stock picking contest were beating his newsletter.

Brinker was furious and that's when the Brinkers started their "nasty attacks" on you.

Well Kirk, I could go on and on but just don't feel like wasting my time...you know how that is.

But thank you for your very illustrative post. It is replete with, and a classic example of, your chronic egomania and paranoia.

...Brinker hates me because I tell the truth about him and my portfolio beats his. And I am so a stock analyst 'cause it says so on my W2 form...so there!!!....and I could pass that investment advisor test if I really wanted to...So there and I'm not going to waste my time on you anymore and you really are going back on ignore this time....and I really mean it this time...
