It's a good strategy. I certainly wouldn't short them. I do worry about the overextension of consumer spending, though, coupled with the end of the housing bubble (or whatever you want to call it). With people saving not at all (did you see the article today?)- any downturn will be magnified- though perhaps not so much for the luxury buyers- assuming they are saving something.
