Not when only the Israelis have nukes. With the somewhere between 200 and 400 nukes, the Israelis could glass over every Arab capitol. So, they're safe as houses, other than from your odd suicide bomber. The Israelis MADE the situation they're in. Don't make them martyrs for it. And don't fall for the fearmongering THIS time! The Israelis would LOVE for the US to get as bogged down in Iran as we are in Iraq, and Bush and the neocons would love to do it too, despite the entire US electorate being against it. For Israel, it's like having your armed, bully big brother over at your house.

So you don't think that being surround and outnumbered 100 to 1 is enough of a counterbalancing force? If that's true, why did Israel move into Lebanon without fear of reprisal? When there were problems in the Golan Heights, Israel briefly went into Syria......again without fear of reprisal. Syria has complained continuously of Israeli flyovers. Israel refuses to give the Golan Heights back to Syria. MM, Israel is the only superpower in the ME. They move and act with impunity. And the Arabs are powerless to do anything.
