It's not about need versus desire, it's about HEALTH CARE. It's about sickness and suffering not about a nonsensical political ideology. I'm talking about the real world and you're mired in trying to get everything to fit into a pigeon hole. "For the umpteenth time, I'm saying single-payer, non-profit because it IS critical, and it can be done TOMORROW" I'm talking about this specific point in time with this specific solution. You go flying off with the unwarranted assumption that ALL THINGS which are critical and immediate require a non-profit monopoly. Who said that? Oh yeah, YOU said that. You make assumptions that don't derive from what I said. Stick with reality. Stick with actual things that we can see, measure, evaluate and fix.
