"There are supposedly more Arabs in the US than Jews. If they wanted to build a lobby equally as powerful as AIPAC, they could. They got money and bodies and centuries of time. They haven't done it."

The Arabs in the US aren't as focused on ONE COUNTRY that is also tied in with their religion as Israel is. I know Lebanese that are concerned for Lebanon and Afghanis that are concerned for Afghanistan and Egyptians that care about Egypt.

Other than deploring it, like a lot of other non-Arab Americans, they really don't give a damn about Palestine.

The Israelis have the advantage of a fairly sophisticated and educated Jewish population born and living in the US. It creates an almost instant network. The Saudis/Arabs don't have that advantage.

There are supposedly more Arabs in the US than Jews. If they wanted to build a lobby equally as powerful as AIPAC, they could. They got money and bodies and centuries of time. They haven't done it.

I don't know how big the Arab population is in the US but its true.....they have made very few attempts to organize into a lobbying network.

>If they wanted to build a lobby equally as powerful as AIPAC, they could.

Could they? It took the Jewish pro-Israel crowd, what, 100 years to get this strong?
