The 5 Iranian diplomats detained turn out to be part of the Iranian secret service, instead of being diplomats. They were detained with evidence that they were funding, arming, and providing intelligence to the Iraqi insurgency. That's proof enough. Not only that, though, Iraqi leaders say the same thing, that Iran has infilitrated Iraq and is driving instability.
