Good piece.

"If they are not successful, they will leave Qualcomm in a greatly strengthened position with a mountain of legal precedents"

This is my sentiment, and I believe that it plays out not too good for the new, improved cabal. The precedents will begin to stack up sometime in the not too distant future (I have time to wait for this to play out, unlike some others showing panic right now).

I made a comment some time back that I feel this group is trying to learn from the Microsoft battle that ensued with all the jealousy from Sun and that Gang. Unfortunately, it was too late for them to gain any traction as MSFT squarely beat them. The POS is attempting to get an earlier jump, buy my feeling is that they are too late as well...but definitely more coordinated than that other gang.
