I have a friend in the insurance business. In fact I obtained my brokers license in New York State to go take over her business in the event of her demise when she was ill back
in the seventies...

She never needed me to intervene(State comes in and takes over unless there is another Broker in the office) and I stayed in teaching.

However I am off the subject. Just suffice to say I know all about the corruption and the lies and this person is now a multi millionaire.. So much money that she cannot possibly spend it all in her lifetime.. She is 78 years old now.

I could tell stories about the entire industry and how the victims are the insured... not the insurers... AMEN.

Hi Ed....you missed my point. Re-read the three bolded paragraphs in the article. I wasn't defending insurance companies.

I was finding it humorous that red state politicos....supposedly free market, corporate defenders.....are quick to call for price controls, etc. when their ox gets gored.
