I personally wouldn't expect McCain to know for sure just how many troops are needed for the surge, despite his reputation of being a Vietnam hero. It is only proper for McCain to admit that. Why Ted expects more out of McCain is beyond me. Because he was touting his military background and insisting that more troops were needed. He only backed down from his position when asked what would be an appropriate number. Why is that so hard for you to understand?
