If a lot of smart people say that continuing to spew CO2 indiscriminately will destroy the habitat of my progeny, I am willing to help with efforts to cut back.

Even if it is only a probability.

The only people who seriously challenge this concept are those with a vested interest in profiting from the production of CO2.

Perhaps they are eunuchs....

You really aren't listening. We - the humans species - are RIGHT NOW causing the extinction of countless species. The idea that global warming could cause the extinction of the human species is pure wishful thinking. We are in no danger at all of extinction, rather we are in danger of severe overpopulation of the planet.
