I just used my Olympus Camedia C-7 digital camera. It's pretty old now, but cost me $700 when new. I really like it, except it takes forever for the shutter to operate, making action shots nearly impossible.

I didn't do anything special, just pointed the camera at the moon and the trees until I got a shutter set that got the best picture. I couldn't quite catch the clouds, which were quite beautiful.

It would have been better with a tripod.
