JDN, You had told me some of that information about your choice of religion in the past, and I believe that every person has the right to choose his own religion, as long as they do not try to force others to join them. That is one of the beefs I have with the Mormons. I get tired of those 18 year old elders knocking on my door, and making a nuisance of themselves. What the Scientolygists do should be considered a crime, IMHO. Today, I believe that Catholics, and Protestants, get along quite well, except maybe in Ireland. I think there is more to that conflict than is widely known. I will know more about that at the end of May this year, because my Wife and I are going to the Republic of Ireland for 12 days. We both have a bit of the blarney in us, so are looking forward to that. I think that every person needs someone to confess to of major sins that are giving him remorse, and a Priest is as good for that, or better, than anyone else. I do believe that God is the only entity that can forgive those sins, but if one feels that the Priest has a closer contact to God, that is fine with me. If a group of people want to elevate another human being on a level closer to God, then that is their business, and if it works for them, I am happy for them. I have no doubt that Catholics, and Protestants, will stand together to fight the impending war with Islam. We must join forces against such an enemy. We must all be warriors in the name of Jesus when the end times come upon us.
