Just don't believe the Bushies. ANYTHING you see that supports their case is likely disinformation put out by them. Their Chinese fire drill in Iraq has been more than a massive failure, it's worked directly AGAINST the national interest. They are desperate to keep this fact from penetrating the American conciousness. Had the Iranians HIRED the Bushies to advance their goals, they couldn't have dreamed of a better result. What has Iran gotten from our invasion and occupation in Iraq? 1. Removal of their hated, counterbalancing regional rival, Saddam. 2. The destruction of the army that had fought them to a draw for ten years. 3. The installation of a friendly Shia government that shares many of their beliefs and sentiments, especially toward Israel. 4. Instability in the ME, which has caused the price of Iran's oil exports to rise from less than $20 a barrel to as high as $70 a barrel, with the new premium being more than $50 a barrel, PERMANENTLY. 5. A war that distracts from their nuclear efforts and divides the people that would oppose them. 6. A war that humilitates and diminishes American influence the world over.
