Yeah, we had so much snow that I decided to shovel off my roof. When that happens it takes up until June 1st for the last of the snow berm to melt on the north side of the house.

I suppose if I wanted geothermal it would be best to place the loop system on the south side of the house. But another problem is that I live in a severe earthquake hazard zone, so I'd rather not disturb my site any further than necessary. One third of my subdivision was lost due to ground failure in the 1964 quake.
