Yes, it sure is. Nothing gets me more depressed than when I see Americans ignoring science in favor of voodoo. It doesn't surprise me though. This generation of Americans, gen Y or whatever comes after the late boomers and Xers, seem to want to eat big macs with abandon and not deal with the consequences. They want their big Hummer without the guilt. Unfortunately, life doesn't work that way. Cause and effect. You pollute your body or the environment and you reap what you sow.
