Besides people cannot think in a vacuum or in a box, one needs the existential intellectual freedom to soar through the universe of ideas to explore for big ideas and how they connect-lol. Sometimes even to mining-lol.

The trick is not to let it turn into a debate between "there is no GW" vs. "there is GW but it's natural" vs. "there is GW but it's caused by humans" with everyone just stating their entrenched positions. I have seen that destroy threads altogether.

Good points, certainly they are connected. However, I was just trying to be respectful of the moderator. Not sure if base metals consumption CAN skyrocket, at least above current levels, given the relatively low inventory levels and the supply-side constraints. I'm sure that demand and supply will be mediated through price, though.
