States have no business funding local school districts. NONE!

What about states where some local jurisdictions are much poorer than the rest of the state?

I'm not talking about lawsuits, just state assistance to poorer districts, counties, cities etc. either for specific things like education or just some form of block grant.

I can certainly see how it could be a bad thing, but I'm not sure I'd say that the states have no legitimate business doing it ever, under any circumstances.
